DESIGN The Lexus IS 250 is a true sports sedan. It’s quick and fun to drive thanks to its balanced chassis and advanced electronic stability control system. The IS 250, also receives smart stop technology for 2013. 
PERFORMANCE Available in either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations; the IS 250 is powered by a 204 horsepower 2.5-liter V6. The all-wheel drive IS 250 uses the six-speed automatic transmission standard with Formula 1 inspired paddle-s hitters. 
SAFETY Safety lectures include driver and front-passenger knee airbags. The brakes are large and effective tour-wheel discs, clamped at the front by aluminum tour-piston calipers. Augmenting the big brakes are ABS, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, and Brake Assist. Traction control also comes standard.
